Jay J. Johnson
Jay J. Johnson is a wildlife artist who resides in America 's northeast. His knowledge of the wildlife he paints in oils comes from traversing thousands of miles of wilderness, hiking the Appalachian and Pacific Crest Trails, sea kayaking in New England, Newfoundland, New Zealand, Baja, and British Columbia. Johnson's paintings have been exhibited nationally in more than 30 museums, including the National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum . He is a member of the Society of Animal Artists Executive Board and a graduate of Cornell University where he studied both art and natural history.
